I read this book last October or November and really enjoyed it. But I can say I truly loved it after I listened to it on audio book. It was such a beautiful production of it. Death has never sounded so well. If you ever get the chance, you should listen to it as well.

You’re review does excellent justice for this book. You are completely correct in your description of the characters and stating that the reader can fall in love with each one, I know I certainly did.

I don’t normally like WWII stories either, but I haven’t heard one person say they don’t like this book. So it’s my “Z” author on my A to Z list. I can hardly wait, but at least I know I ending that challenge with a great novel. Thanks for the review
