What did you think of The Princess and that Goblin? I remember reading all of the Princess series when I was 10 (which may explain my rather odd sense of word humour now). In fact, today I started reading The Collected Fairy Tales of George McDonald, which brought home to me how clever and yet dark his writng can be.***CV
