uhaul.jpgThis weekend is a packing/moving weekend for my family. We’re moving most of our belongings to our new home. So, I’m behind on reviews, but I have (miraculously) finished the books I wanted to. Hopefully I’ll get caught up on reviews by Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

Southern Reading Challenge-complete!!

Thank you, Maggie, for hosting a wonderful challenge! I loved all three of the books I read, and all of them gave a wonderful sense of the South. Two of them were Pulitzers, but the non-Pulitzer, The Secret Life of Bees, was probably my favorite.

My 3 choices were:

1. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
2. The Known World by Edward P. Jones (will add review later)
3. A Death in the Family by James Agee
