Thank you, Maggie, for hosting a wonderful challenge! I loved all three of the books I read, and all of them gave a wonderful sense of the South. Two of them were Pulitzers, but the non-Pulitzer, The Secret Life of Bees, was probably my favorite.
My 3 choices were:
1. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
2. The Known World by Edward P. Jones (will add review later)
3. A Death in the Family by James Agee

I, too, read and fell in love The Secret Life of Bees. And I probably never would have read it if not for the Southern Reading Challenge.
Hope the moving is going smoothly!
I loved The Secret Life of Bees as well!
Congrats on finishing 3M! I’m not sure why, but this blog fell through the cracks. I’m afraid I may have one of your many other blogs in my bloglines. I’m sorry.
