Yay! I hope you will, Joy. It’s fun to compare notes.
I’m definitely in. Reading books across time was so much fun for me. I’m glad I got to read so many different ideas and thoughts. I’ll let you know when I post my list. Thanks for hosting this.
Hi 3M!
Congratulations!!! You have won THE ONLY ROAD NORTH by Mirandette! I can’t wait for you to read it.
Please send me your name and address to non_fiction_five_challenge at yahoo dot com, and I’ll send it out to you within the next couple of days.

Yeah!! I’ll be in for a Decades challenge part 2!! I am working to finish up the rest of this years by December!!
Tenant of Wildfell Hall was really good! I read it this year!! If you check out my list of books read, you can even read my review!
Great list!
This sounds really fun! I have a couple of questions though. Do you have to read them in order or can you skip around? And do you have to limit yourself to one every month?
Hi, Karen! you can skip around–you don’t have to read them in order. You can also read them as fast or as slow as you want, as long as you finish 8 books in 8 consecutive decades!
I have actually read 8 of the books on your list and two of them are on my top ten favorite books of all time–Middlemarch and The Poisonwood Bible. I hope you enjoy them! This sounds like a great challenge.
