That’s what my son said just now. He thought I was getting rid of the books that I was cataloging on LibraryThing. When I told him what I was doing, he just sighed, said the above, and walked away. I had to laugh. I guess that’s why, even though I’ve been a member since February, I’ve resisted LibraryThing for so long–that and the move. I still have over 50 book boxes that haven’t been opened yet! Well, one box at a time, as they say. I’ll probably get rid of quite a few on PBS or Bookmooch, though, too.
It’ll be fun to compare libraries with everyone. My id is 3M3m if you want to add me as your friend.

I resisted for a long while too. But resistance is futile. (hehe)
50 boxes is quite a lot!
wow, 50 boxes! send them to me
Fifty is quite a lot of boxes of books! Do you have one of the scanner things to make the cataloging process easier? I did it all by hand, and although it took awhile, somehow I managed to get it done. Good luck!
That’s a lot of boxes! I have a bunch in those big plastic tubs in storage right now. I think there are 5 tubs. I just don’t have the room. I’m trying to read what I have in the house, then on to the tubs!
I raced over there and found you. I sent you a friend invite. I did all my books by hand and I have to say I got sick of it!!! At the time I was also listing my movies and music on Squirl.com. But now that I’m done I do love them both.
For this reason (the 50 boxes of books – lol) I have book raffles on my blog. I know if I don’t, I’ll end up with tons in no time…lol!
Wow 50 boxes, that’s hardcore! Can’t wait to see your collection, happy adding
