The goal is to read two books each by C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. Movies are also acceptable, but I’m going to try to read the books unless I get in a bind.
by Lewis:

2. Perelandra
My recommendations to others: The Chronicles of Narnia (7 book set), Mere Christianity, Till We Have Faces, The Great Divorce, and The Screwtape Letters.
by Tolkien:
1. The Hobbit
2. The Return of the King
My recommendations to others: The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers.
Ha! I have 3 Lewis books planned for 2008. I have had them on my shelves for years and I haven’t gotten to them…now’s the time! Don’t think I can manage the Tolkein books though so I have to pass this challenge up.

I could probably do this. I’m starting The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe soon and it will be the first time I read them. Plus I’ve been wanting to do a re-read of the Tolkien series for awhile. If I can get my Four-Legged Friend challenge done by next month then I’ll be glad to join.
