The 12 Books of Christmas – #1-#3

I have 12 books I’ll be giving away for Christmas, and today I’m posting the first three up for grabs. All are gently used.

  • The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood
  • Beloved by Toni Morrison
  • Tears of the Giraffe by Alexander McCall Smith

Let me know which of these you are interested in, and I’ll put your name in the ‘hat.’ You may choose more than one for the drawing if you wish, but you will only get one book. I’m sorry, but I have to restrict this to the United States and Canada only. I’ll do the drawing on December 16.

Merry Christmas!

Catalog

btt button

Do you use any of the online book-cataloging sites, like Library Thing or Shelfari? Why or why not?

If not an online catalog, do you use any other method to catalog your book collection? Excel spreadsheets, index cards, a notebook, anything?

My answer: Yes, I use LibraryThing and love it. I don’t have all my books in my library yet as I have tons of book boxes ready to be unpacked from a move, but there are still quite a few listed. Also, I like being part of the Early Reviewer program. Got my first book last month on the first try! The social aspect is very nice, too. I enjoy the conversation going on in many groups. Long live LibraryThing!
