I love Masterpiece Theatre AND Jane Austen. Put them together, and I’ll be in heaven. Gillian Anderson is the new host! Can’t wait for this season!

Thanks for the list, 3M. It’s much appreciated.
I wish this whole season was showing here!
We have Sense and Sensibility – the Andrew Davies production happening here (UK) at the moment, Episode 2 tonight on BBC1 ! It is brilliant – gorgeous Devon coastlines, lovely country houses, the little cottage the Dashwood women live in, not to mention dashed hopes!!
The BBC are doing a service that means certain progs are available in their entirerity for 7 days after the prog was first broadcast. If you want to watch it go to bbc.co.uk then navigate here!

Sadly last Sunday prog is no longer available but you should get tonights after it has been broadcast.
There is also a fairly interesting look at the programme at http://www.radiotimes.com/content/features/galleries/sense-and-sensibility/01/
I watched a programme I had missed using this service and it was really fine. My techie DH says it depends upon the speed of your broadband connection.
Sorry for such a long post – I got carried away!
Julie
I’m so excited about this! I already have my TiVo thingy(not really, tivo but works the same) set for Persuasion. I bet they’re showing the Emma Thomson version of S&S-otherwise I don’t know why it’d get two weeks.
I am so excited about this. Especially Persuasion and Mansfield Park as I haven’t seen them.
This is the first time (since the end of “Friends”) that I wish I had a tv. I’m sad that I’m going to miss them. Hopefully I’ll be able to catch them on DVD soon.
Oh, goodie!
Thanks for the reminder!
FYI, the link above from Julie only works if you are in the UK. Bummer!
Andrew Davies is a genius!
I have just read Petunia’s comment about the BBC link. Sorry I did not know that. You guys have a fine feast coming up though! Enjoy it all!
I just saw an “advertisment” on PBS for this on the weekend! I got very excited and cheered. My husband laughed and said, “I know what you’ll be doing on Sunday evenings.”
Thanks for posting the schedule Michelle!
