10:00 pm CT. I finished 2001: A Space Odyssey and loved it! I’ll be writing a review of it in the next few days. I’ve already ordered 2010 so I can read it before I see the movie. I’ll probably try to get to 2010 this year if I can.
I would like to read at least one more sci-fi for Carl’s Sci-Fi Experience. Solaris by Stanislaw Lem and The Stars My Destination by Alfred Bester are the leading contenders.
Polishing off two books in one day sure feels great. My choices were a lot different than the books I’ve been reading lately. My last three were all by Nobel laureates, and while excellent, they were a bit on the heavy side. Devouring a children’s book and then a sci-fi picked up my ‘reading spirits.’
