I’ve been so late in recognizing these awards I’ve received. Thank you so much, everyone! Caribousmom, Framed, Suey, Amy, and Julie gave me the Make My Day Award, and Raidergirl3 and Teddy gave me the Mwah Award. I hope I didn’t leave anyone out. Let me know if I did.
I’m going to give all 7 of you both awards. I love reading your blogs, and I love our little (but growing!) book blogging community. It’s so great to find kinship with like minds.
I am also going to give a special shout out to Raidergirl3 for helping me moderate The Pulitzer Project, 888, and Book Awards Challenge blogs. Thank you so much for all your help. It has blessed me tremendously!
J. Kaye is hosting the 100+ Reading Challenge, which lasts all of 2008. I truly hadn’t really planned on trying to reach 100 this year, as I accomplished that feat last year. But…I’ve already read 15 29 books so far this year, so I might as well try it again. If I fail, I’ll know at least I did it in 2007.

Anyone else watching American Idol this week? Who are some of your favorites? So far the ones that stand out to me are, from left to right, Amanda, David A, Michael, and Syesha:
I also really like Brooke, but I’m not sure if she’ll have the confidence to perform well all of the time. This season looks really great.
I’m going to start a series of just some general blogging tips on Tuesdays. I probably won’t write every week, but I’d like to most of the time. These will be just some short ideas and resources that bloggers can use for their themes.
When coming up with color schemes, one resource that I’ve found helpful is Colour Lovers, particularly the palette section. There are over 250,000 color palettes you can use to find the perfect colors to complement your blog. If you know you want to use a certain color, enter it in the search function, and several palettes will be returned that will feature complementary colors to your base color.
I love this site, and I hope this tip will be useful to you!
But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. (Jude 1:20-21, ESV)
