i-tunes sales — a predictor?

As of this moment, here are the top i-tunes sales of the American Idol contestants:

The songs from this week have just barely begun selling. I predict Hallelujah and Hello to go much higher. Three people take up 9 out of 12 of those slots: David Archuleta, Jason Castro, and David Cook. They, along with Brooke, are definitely my favorites so far. I wouldn’t at all mind seeing those 4 in the final four.

American Idol Wrap Up 03.06.08

idol-logo.jpgAfter being wowed by the guys this week, the girls were just so-so. I watched David Cook’s and Jason Castro’s performances multiple times. See them both below. I love Brooke and thought she did the best last night, but I probably won’t re-view it.

Here’s my personal ranking of how the Idols did this week:

Top 3 Guys:

  1. Jason Castro
  2. David Cook
  3. David Archuleta

Bottom 3 Guys:

  • Luke Menard
  • Danny Noriega
  • David Hernandez

Top 2 Girls:

  1. Brooke White
  2. Amanda Overmyer

Bottom 2 Girls:

  • Kady Malloy (I *loved* her the first week, since then, not)
  • Kristy Lee Cook
