But the script didn&#039;t deliver what it could have.  There were so many gaps: events only hinted at; themes undeveloped; personalities unplumbed.  And these excellent actors weren&#039;t given a fair opportunity to use their range of talents.&quot;Memory Keeper&quot; could have been a meatier exploration of personal and familial dynamics, let alone Down Syndrome.  All the elements were there to be grasped and aggressively wrestled with!
