Per the rules, I have to read at least four books for this challenge. Here are my choices the ones I’ll choose from, subject to change.
- Undiscovered Country by Lin Enger
- The Bible Salesman by Clyde Edgerton
- Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen by Susan Gregg Gilmore
- What Was Lost by Catherine O’Flynn (received before publication)
- The Gargoyle by Andrew Davidson
- Songs for the Missing by Stewart O’Nan
- The Enchantress of Florence by Salman Rushdie
- The White Mary
- The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

I’m so jealous that you have the newest Rushdie!!
That being said, I have my own piles of ARCs that need to be attended too anyway. I’ll definitely think about this challenge!
Um . . . I hate to point this out, but I think you have a challenge addiction.
) I’m so impressed by your ability to actually complete them. I’m relatively new to the challenges, so I’m trying to take it slow. You know, with only four or five.
Great list Michelle! I’m so glad that you joined the challenge!
Wow so many are reading “Songs for the Missing”! I really enjoyed it (my review’s here if you’re interested). I look forward to your review of “Enchantress of Florence”
Yes! We have end-of-school-itis around here, and our family organization has gone out the window! This will get me back on track. I’ll post my list later this evening; I’m glad I read about the ARC Summer Reading Challenge here!
Great choices. Just saying Hi, I’m in the challenge too:)
