Carl at Stainless Steel Droppings once again hosted the Once Upon A Time Challenge. There were three quests to choose from.
- Quest 1 — Read five books from any category or combination of category from the fantasy, mythology, fairytale, or folklore genres.
- Quest 2 — Read one book from each of the four categories.
- Quest 3 — Choose EITHER Quest 1 OR 2 AND also read Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
I chose Quest 1. Here are my completed titles (yes, first time for the HP’s!):
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
- Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

That was quite a lot of pages to get through~! Did you have a favorite of the bunch? Mine was The Half Blood Prince, and I’ll never forget catching my son crying from reading the book which had Sirius Black’s death.

Overall, what did you think of the HP books? I feel a bit left out of the mania — I liked them, but I didn’t find them all that memorable. I hesitate to say this, but I kind of like the movies at least as well. I’d be interested to hear your reaction to the series as a whole, now that you’re done with it.
