So many dystopian novels go the “tightly controlled society/ overbearing government” route. I want to see more that go the opposite direction– pure anarchy. For all our fears about Big Brother, the other extreme deserves some concern, too, doesn’t it?

God, I loved that book when it first came out. I’m dying to read another of her books, ‘Haweswater’, as well.

I’m glad to see a good review of this one. I heard about it a couple of weeks ago and thought it sounded interesting. I love dystopian literature. Another one for the TBR list!
