I bought this book because I’d read so many great reviews of it, but just couldn’t get into it. It bored me. I read the first three chapters I think, but then gave up. Maybe I’ll try it again another time… although probably not!

I just finished writing my review, and then hunted down more to link (including yours). And I think the Woman Hating title is more accurate! I loved Lisbeth but man that Mikael really bugged me. He reminded me of all those spineless characters Michael Douglas played in those late 80s early 90s movies.

I don’t think so. The gritty CSI stuff doesn’t appeal even if the story itself is very compelling. Thanks for the review.

Well, I’m hoping I like it more than you did. The only thing that holds me back is the amount of pages . . . ugh! With no challenges looming over me next year, I may have more tolerance for lengthy books – we’ll see. I’ve never been a big fan of chunksters.
