Mid-Event Survey:
- Lost in a Good Book by Jasper Fforde
2. How many books have you read so far?
- One and parts of two others.
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
- Finishing up In the Company of Cheerful Ladies by Alexander McCall Smith
4. Did you have to make any special arrangements to free up your whole day?
- Not really. This is my 4th readathon, so my family is used to it by now. Thankfully, I have two teenage sons and a husband who can take care of themselves for a day!
5. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
- A few, but nothing major. That’s to be expected!
6. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
- That I enjoy it so much every single time!!!
7. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year?
- None. Great job!
8. What would you do differently, as a Reader or a Cheerleader, if you were to do this again next year?
- Nothing really. I know what works for me by now!
9. Are you getting tired yet?
- A little. I only got 5 hours of sleep last night, so I might have to take a little nap later!
10. Do you have any tips for other Readers or Cheerleaders, something you think is working well for you that others may not have discovered?
- No, everyone is so different in what works for them. It’s really trial and error.
