I really can’t see myself getting enough of John‘s Canadian Challenges any time soon. So many wonderful Canadian authors and books. These are the books I’m interested in reading this time around:
- Unless by Carol Shields
- View from Castle Rock by Alice Munro
- Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood
- Still Life by Louise Penny
- A Fatal Grace (aka Dead Cold) by Louise Penny
- The Cruelest Month by Louise Penny
- A Rule Against Murder (aka The Murder Stone) by Louise Penny
- The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie by Alan Bradley
- At a Loss for Words by Diane Schoemperlen
- The Brutal Telling by Louise Penny
- Anne of Windy Poplars by Montgomery
- Anne’s House of Dreams by Montgomery
- Tenderness of Wolves by Penney
- Crow Lake by Lawson
- Year of the Flood by Atwood

Outlander! Crow Lake! and my Anne books! what a great list of Canadian books you’ve got there. Enjoy!
I need to do this. so many of my favorite writers (woohoo Atwood!) are Canadian. I just finished The Day the Falls Stood Still which was great so there’s ANOTHER Canadian writer to watch.
Alias Grace is an all time favorite of mine!
