The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate, Marcelo in the Real World, Catching Fire, and Tales from Outer Suburbia are some of this year’s favorite reads. Most of the list is on my TBR list now.

I’ve ‘read’ The Arrival and loved the story but not the pictures so much. I’d like to look at another Tan book to see if I’d feel differently.

The only one I have read is the Shaun Tan which I loved! Fair to say though that I am something of a Shaun Tan fangirl. The Arrival was my first book of his and it ended up being my favourite book of the year a couple of years ago, despite the fact that it has no words. Just fantastic.

I highly recommend Tales from Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan! I read that book by him and another one called the Arrival this year. Both got perfect 5 stars from me!

Loved Shiver. And If I Stay. The Ask and the Answer was brilliant, but a sequel. Haven’t heard of some of the others!
