I don’t remember when I started using Firefox. It was quite awhile ago, and I’ve loved it for a long time. I started it when IE was crashing all the time, and now, unfortunately, Firefox is doing the same thing. I’ve started using Chrome a little and have even gone back to IE for some things.
What happened? It was a great browser. I love having the weather, feedburner stats, ad-block, and other add-ons that Firefox utilizes. But I can’t continue using it if it’s crashing all the time. I want the old Firefox back.
I will be hosting the 26th edition of the Bookworms Carnival, and the theme is Book Awards. If you are interested in submitting reviews, articles, etc. for the carnival, please email me at .
The deadline for submissions is March 27.
I am most interested in articles considering the validity of book awards in general, which prizes have the best books, the merits of the winner vs. the shortlist titles, and comparisons of the winning titles within any single award. Any other subject concerning book awards in general is welcome. Be creative!
Of course, I would love to have reviews as well, especially of the more recent winners and/or winners of the less well-known prizes.
I’m really looking forward to putting the carnival together, and I hope you will consider participating!
That almost sounds like I’m cussing, doesn’t it? Anyway, I hadn’t heard of the term ’scraping’ before, but it refers to websites that steal your content and publish it as their own. It seems that it’s happening more and more frequently to me, and I discovered this wordpress plug-in that will ban certain ip addresses from your blog. I’m starting to use it, and I thought some other wordpress users might want to know about it. You can find more info here:
