I am trying to complete a similar goal with watching all the best pictures, but I am also trying to watch all of the nominees as well. I just started this year and have not completed a large number of movies thus far (32 finished thus far) with I think my favorite being “The Apartment”, best picture winner 1960. I am currently watching “The Verdict”, nominee 1982. My only rules are that I have to watch the Best Picture winner for that specific year before I can watch the nominees, and if the movies are part of a series I need to watch them in order.
